Amélie talks about being a high school student during auditions for college. She tells about her experiences and tips on how to get a better audition experience. A must listen for every curious flutist. Many potential flutists this time of year are making there way to a college and university to try and apply for music school. In the video, we try to ease the tension and prepare you for what is to come during before and during audition day. Auditioning can be a stressful situation but many ways it doesn’t have to be, taking steps in preparing your repertoire, technique and stage presence: you can become a confident musician on audition day!

All the while becoming an even better person thru this worthwhile learning experience. After all, it isn’t the end, it’s just the beginning! Take the time before to perform your auditions pieces anywhere you can in front of a public, this will help tremendously with stage fright and make you much more confident.
